Hi visitor(s),
How are you all? It's winter in Holland, but I haven't seen a layer of snow, yet. We did have some hail, but that is the closest to a winter at the moment.
This week was my second week of internship in the hospital. With another student I observed the logistic from the Throat, Nose and Ear department. It's very interesting and educational, but I haven't had a lot of sleep lately... I'm still not used to being completely awake at seven in the morning or even earlier. I guess it's a great training for later. Still one more week to go!
Sad, guilt or nothing?
My grandfather past away this morning at around four o' clock (CET, GMT +1). I wasn't surprised to hear it, because I saw him last summer... During my summervacation... Still he was a very strong old man... I feel sad, but I can't really cry... Because I didn't know him that well... I've only seen him three times... I guess I feel most sad about the fact, that I can't say goodbye to him... He's so far away... Maybe I can say it in this way: "Rest in peace, grandpa."
