My week started strange and it still is continuing being strange?!
Incident 1 - I went to work Monday and thought: "It is Wednesday!" I see people I usually only see on Wednesday. I thought I missed two days. I had about a week of jet-lag after I came back from vacation and my whole biological clock was an entire day ahead of everyone. I flew back in time literally and thought I slept an entire weekend plus two days, but I didn't. They were there for plausible reasons and it was nice to see them again after being away for an entire month.
Incident 2 - Another strange thing happened. A guy, who usually can't talk to me says a little more than just "yes", "no" and very short closed replies. A whole dialogue came out. It continued even when I walked away, which made me walk back towards him. But he still doesn't look into my eyes, when he talks. I have concluded at the start of this year that I find him quite rude. He can't be shy, because this has been going on for more than a year! No matter how he looks like: fit body, broad smile, standing in my comfort zone, broad arms... I still find him rude! I have said it before: "Where are the gents?" He definitely isn't one. He is just a pretty boy.
Incident 3 - Today, I had a lovely conversation with a guy through chat. I have no idea, why it was so easy to talk to him. I am usually shy and don't just open up to anyone. I listen, observe, smile and reply a bit but I hardly ever talk in dialogues to people who I don't know. I guess I just connected to another shy person? Or was he by coincidence on the same level of nerdy when we chatted today? Because I have chatted with him before and this time the humour! *swoon*. I guess time will tell, where this is heading to.
So these three incidents can just be a coincidence or I just landed into the twilight zone. Or am I seeing a mirage created by the short summer weather of this week? I don't know exactly, what is happening, but if this is the twilight zone? I don't want it to end! I love the good surprises and the turn of events. I appreciate it, when people aren't acting weird due to being unresponsive.
