A few weeks ago, I woke up from huge waterdrops sounds in my bedroom. I thought I was dreaming, but it kept on going for two hours straight from five o' clock in the morning till I finally got out of bed. I wished I was dreaming than, but oh no. It looked almost like the lowest stand of the watertap. It weren't just drops. My window was leaking! I hurried to get towels and a hairdryer. I put a bowl under the leak and went to the shower. When I came back I heard from my mum, that she emptied the bowl twice. I looked for a bucket and put it under the leak. Unfortunately I couldn't dry the rest of the floor and window, because I had to get ready for school. Argh! It was a frustrating day. The whole day I was thinking: "Are the things next to my window fine? How much water is coming into my room?"
It was the day it rained like crazy in Holland. If you walked outside you would be completely wet in a few seconds and your shoes would be a few centimetres in the water. That's pretty high for a straight tiles road in The Netherlands.
Anyway today they fixed the window. I came home and my mum told me that there was a huge gab between my two glass windows. So that's the reason why the water was coming in like a watertap. I hope I won't hear these kinds of waterdrops in my room again. Raindrops... Huge raindrops.
There's a guy in my class, who can make the sound of a waterdrop with his mouth. It's cute and it makes me laugh, but since this incident... I'm constantely reminded of the leak in my room. I hope that will be over now, since it's fixed.
