A new year, new memories, new encounters... Today, was a defrosting day. The frozen lakes and rivers have started to melt and so ends the outdoor skating till it freezes again. Apart from the weather and frost, many thoughts have crossed my mind today and I would like to share them with you. As usual, they are weird but hey if you know me... *whispers* I'm weird >.<
I have long hair at the moment. It has grown a few centimetres over my shoulders now and today has let me think about cutting it short again. How much do you like the staring? I feel awkward by it. I believe that it never happens, when you have short hair! At least not in this way... Walk past you... Walk slower, while staring... What is so attractive about long hair, guys? It is not a miracle, it is just hair that has been washed and conditioner makes it shinny. You should try it too!
I have noticed that less people get out at metro/train stations Duivendrecht, Bijlmer. Now they get out at Holendrecht! Since recently it has become a train station as well ^^ Which is nice, very nice... But... I wished he got out earlier.
At metro station Weesperplein a girl sat down in front of me and next to her, a guy. The smell of onion bread made me hungry. She was eating it. It was almost dinnertime and at the station I ate a sultana, but I guess I am still hungry. He had a book about something business related on his lap. He told her that he is planning to study during the trip, but the girl kept on talking to him. Obviously she likes him, but he replies and than continues reading. Dang! Why does that look so attractive! A person reading a book is beautiful, actually someone who is thinking in an attractive way like 'The Thinker' statue by Auguste Rodin is also attractive. Anyway... I was thinking: "I should read, because I can see him in the reflection of the window." Only I didn't read, I was too hungry to do that. I saw something interesting on one of the metro stations, that we passed so I turned my head and when I turned back I saw him staring at me. He turned back to his book after a few seconds. I thought it was my imagination, but he did it a few times later on as well. He even started smiling after I turned towards him to stare at him. At the last few stations, she didn't say anything to him anymore. She gave up I guess, and pulled out some reading material out of her bag. A few stops, before mine. The lady sitting next to me stood up to get ready to get off the metro, only I heard him say: "Sorry." He was sitting with one leg on top of the other so that his book would lay higher. I noticed his shoes than... They were brown and usually you wear them with a suit. He wasn't wearing a suit, he was wearing a nice jacket that looked like a suit. A few stops later, I wanted to pass his feet. Surprise, surprise he didn't move... He looked up slightly and I thought: "What should I do... I was planning to smile, but now..."
The girl: "We have to get off here, right?"
I was considering to steal his shoe, but than I thought laces meeeehh... So I just pushed his feet aside hard, than I walked satisfied to the exit.
Except now I still wonder, what would have happened if I stole his shoe *laughs*
